Role journeys

Each role's path from start to finish — the restaurant owner, the cashier, the kitchen, the branch manager, the customer and the accountant — step by step, with screenshots.

  1. 01The restaurant owner: set your account up from scratchFrom the first contact with the Moving team to a till that prints: the account and the devices, the back office and its settings, the menu with its sizes and add-ons, then the branches, the staff, the permissions and the printer.
  2. 02The cashier: a shift from opening to closingThe cashier's day in order: signing in, starting the day and opening the shift with its float, taking the order, a discount or points, taking payment, the receipt, drawer movements, cancellations, then counting the cash and closing the shift with a Z-report.
  3. 03The kitchen: the display from order to readyWhat the kitchen does all day: opens the kitchen display, accepts online orders with a prep time, moves every ticket from new to preparing to ready, prints tickets, watches the sound and the connection, and reviews the day's orders.
  4. 04The branch manager: stock and the day's numbersA branch manager's day across the back office and the till: the dashboard and its alerts, the business day, the branch's stock, purchases and waste, transfers from the warehouse, branch prices, then the shifts, the day's report and the activity log.
  5. 05The customer: orders online and earns pointsYour restaurant's customer's journey: they pick a branch and order on the ordering site, their order reaches the kitchen display, they follow its status, then earn loyalty points at the till and spend them, and join the Loyalty Garden and pay at the table where those are on.
  6. 06The accountant: VAT, invoices and the booksWhat the accountant needs from Moving POS: setting VAT, e-invoicing with ZATCA for Saudi accounts, reviewing shifts and business days, profit and loss, exporting data, and linking the books through the Accounting app or the API.
