Ship with Bosta
Connect your Bosta account to book the courier from the order page, print the waybill and follow the shipment’s status. Bosta is available to shop stores in Egypt only.

Before you start
- A shop store in Egypt; the Bosta card doesn’t show for restaurant stores or outside Egypt.
- A Bosta account and its API key.
- The Manage shipping & couriers permission to connect it, and Process orders to book shipments.
Once connected, you book a Bosta courier from the order page: the customer’s address, the parcel’s weight and the cash to collect are sent to Bosta, and the shipment’s status comes back to the order.
Connect Bosta
Step 1: From the sidebar, open Settings › Shipping & delivery and go to the Bosta card.
Step 2: Turn on Use Bosta, and choose the Mode: Test or Live.
Step 3: Enter the API key and save.
The key is stored hidden and then shows only its last four characters. Type a new one whenever you want to replace it.
Step 4: Choose the Pickup location, Default package size and Default package type, then save.
Pickup locations load from your Bosta account once the key is saved. Turn on Customers may open packages before paying if you want. Courier settings saved appears.
Step 5: Click Test connection.
For live: choose Live, save, then test; live works only after a passing test since the last key change.
Step 6: Choose Bosta in Delivered by on the shipping rates that should use it.
You don’t need to paste a webhook into Bosta: every booking sends Bosta your store’s address automatically. The Copy the Bosta webhook address button is there if you need it.
Book a shipment
Step 1: Open the order and click Book courier.
This button shows when the order’s shipping rate uses Bosta; Ready to ship shows when it uses your own delivery.
Step 2: In the Book a shipment dialog, check the Carrier and Weight (grams).
The weight is filled in from the product weights. For Bosta, choose the Package size, Package type and Customer may open the package, each starting at Store default. Add Notes for the courier if you want.
Step 3: Confirm the booking.
The courier is booked now and the label becomes printable. The order’s unpaid amount is sent to Bosta to collect on delivery.
Print the waybill and follow the shipment
- Print label on the order’s Fulfilment card opens Bosta’s waybill as an A6 PDF.
- To print waybills for several orders, select them in the orders list and choose Print courier labels, up to 50 orders at a time.
- The Fulfilment card shows the Tracking number, a Track the parcel link, Cash to collect, Delivery attempts and the Last courier update.
- The status updates from Bosta automatically, or click Refresh from courier: Pending, Booked, In transit, Out for delivery, Delivered, Failed, Returning, Returned, Cancelled.
- To cancel the booking, choose Cancel shipment; if Bosta refuses, turn on Cancel locally if the courier refuses. You can then Book shipment again.
Does Bosta work outside Egypt or for restaurants?
No. The Bosta card shows for shop stores in Egypt only. Restaurants deliver with their own drivers through branch delivery zones.
Why can’t I let customers open the package?
Bosta needs product images to allow opening the package, so add images to the order’s products.
Why can’t I turn Bosta off or remove it?
It can’t be turned off while active shipping rates use it, and it can’t be removed while it has shipments in progress.
Can I book return pickups with Bosta?
Yes, a pickup of a customer’s return is booked the same way, from the return’s page. Details in returns.
